Spare a Dime Japan

Posted on 31 May 2010 by Jim Atwood

A popular tourist attraction at Zenkoji Temple is this little fellow. I go there a lot, but finally grabbed a shot of this little statue. It’s quite colorful and always looking for a handout ..LOL

In Due Order

Posted on 20 August 2009 by Jim Atwood

In Due Order shows the endless lineup of lanterns strung along the grounds of Zenkoji Temple in Nagano City Japan. With all of these lanterns, I found it fun to work with perspective rather than to shoot head on. I often do this when encountering multiple subjects. On this particular day it was rather windy and I also was able to take some shots of the lanterns moving out of line. That made for some cools shots too.
